Report for humanitarian aid provided within the framework of the project from the Government of Australia

Communal institution “Khoroshevsky geriatric boarding house” – 269 clients, 130 are disabled, 170 are bedridden. All clients live in the institution on a permanent basis and receive inpatient care services.

As part of the Project, the institution received 11 names (23 units) of technical means of rehabilitation and care: functional beds, orthopedic mattresses, mattresses with a removable cover made of waterproof fabric, orthosis for the thoracic and lumbar spine, a wash basin on wheels, toilet chairs and bedside tables. 5 names (170 units) of sanitary and hygiene products.

Communal institution “Zmiyiv geriatric boarding house” – 301 clients, including 150 people with disabilities. All wards live in the institution on a permanent basis and receive inpatient care services. During the war, starting from February 24, 2022, the institution received about 90 internally displaced elderly people who were unable to evacuate to a long distance due to their health and physical limitations in movement.

As part of the Project, the institution received 10 items (100 units) of technical means of rehabilitation and care, most of them are mobility aids: walkers, walking sticks, crutches (inguinal and elbow), as well as care products, toilet chairs and shower chairs.

The institution also received 32 packs of diapers for adults and sanitary and hygiene products.

Communal institution “Panyutyne psychoneurological boarding house” provides social services of inpatient care, provides conditions for permanent residence and medical care for 191 persons with disabilities due to mental illnesses.

As part of the Project, the institution received four functional beds and ten mattresses with a removable cover made of waterproof fabric, as well as 32 packs of diapers for adults.

The communal institution “Center for the provision of social services of Bogodukhiv city council of Kharkiv region” provides social services to persons who are in difficult life circumstances and need social assistance. The Center provides services at the recipient’s place of residence (at home) or on the condition of a day’s stay in the Center’s premises. In 2021, the Center served 1,781 people.

A rental point operates in the Center in the department of in-kind and cash assistance, where people in need can use rehabilitation facilities.

As part of the Project, Centre received 9 names of technical means of rehabilitation and care. 27 total units of canes, crutches, walkers, toilet chairs and bath seats.
